Horses and Humans are sentient beings. Through synchronicity there is a balance of openness and willingness. We provide a non-judgmental environment, which naturally generates mutual understanding and reciprocal healing.
I will provide a supportive system for the Horse and Human, to better understand one another. With rising numbers of Horses being sent to slaughter, my hope is, with my methods, we will build a bridge of knowledge together, bringing about healing & growth that will lead to mutual understanding between Horses & their Humans. My hope is to prevent horses from going to auction at all.
Ever since I can remember, I have been drawn to horses, as if a gravitational pull exists deep within me, drawing me to these magnificent creatures.
I spent most of my childhood into my teenage years riding, training my own horses and competing in various disciplines. When financial difficulty came into play, I was forced to give up my passion. Many years later, I began exercising 6 horses regularly. I was pregnant, so at 7 months in, I decided it was not smart to continue riding, for fear of harming my unborn child. Years later, 2 children and injured at my job, I found a lovely horse rescue. This place is where Zen-ergized Equine was birthed. These rescue horses had endured such pain, emotionally, mentally, physically it seemed all of their spirit had left them. As I began the process of assessing these Horses' conditions my eyes were blown open and my heart ached with sorrow. All the methods I had used in previous years of horse training were thrown out the window. I began to listen and what I heard was devastating at first. Humbled, honored, and armored with love I began developing a whole new way of interacting with these amazing sentient beings. My growth and development continues everyday. The magic I've experienced building relationship with each individual horse is a gift I hope to share.
